Tio y Tia

Tio Adam & Tia Carla came to visit after their whirlwind return to the States, resettling and marriage. It was great to have them visit, and while we didn't do a whole lot, Eric loved having them around. He especially liked showing off his books and toys.

Such good friends

We're so lucky to have such good friends! Since they couldn't make it to our housewarming party, Rita & Brian came over at the beginning of April (with dinner!). We never turn down an offer to sample Rita's cooking and we were treated with delicious chicken, spinach and mashed potatoes, along with a signature molten lava chocolate dessert. Thanks, you guys.

Carrolls visit

We had such a good time when our friends Blair, Damian & Molly came to visit us from LA. The last weekend in March, Damian had a conference to attend in San Jose so it worked out perfectly for them to stay with us. We got to hang out with Blair & Molly a ton -- we visited Happy Hollow, Chuck E. Cheese and the park, and spent time around the house reading (especially the Cat in the Hat), napping and playing.

Tahoe with Preschool Friends

March 20-21, Eric and Andrea drove up to Truckee/Tahoe with some friends from preschool. With four moms and five kids, it was slow moving on the way up (with no naps!) but a lot of fun once we got there. Eric was not too sure about the snow since it was tough for him to walk in it. He had a lot more fun watching the icicles melt and playing with his friends inside! Thanks to Letty, Christo & Emma for having us.

Our new place

We had some friends over to celebrate our new place in the middle of March. It was Jason's secret ploy to force Andrea to unpack more quickly and get rid of the unsightly boxes that had been scattered around the house. It managed to work for most of them, but there are still a number of boxes that got shoved into closets that need to be unpacked and organized. Maybe we'll get to those in the next year or two...

We are especially thrilled to now have a backyard big enough to allow a number of kids to run around and play! Our kitchen is plenty big to have everyone hang out in too. We definitely have room to grow into this new home of ours.
