Halloween 2006 - The Finale

This year Halloween seemed to go on forever... for the culmination on Tuesday night we joined our friends Michele, Juan and Zach for some good ol' fashioned trick-or-treating through the Rose Garden area. Some of their neighbors go all out for Halloween and it was fun to see the effort that went into making graveyards and jack-o-lanterns and haunted houses. Happy Halloween!!!

Finally...October 31st

During the day, we met our playgroup at Santana Row and enjoyed the Mommy & Me Halloween put on by the people there. It was pretty much mad-chaos with nearly everyone from San Jose and his/her mother (and sometimes father, grandmother, aunt, uncle, you-name-it). Some kids visited the stores to trick-or-treat. We just walked around some and watched all of the cuties in their costumes. Check out our mini-lion pack!

Still Halloween

On Sunday afternoon Eric and I headed over to the Little Gym to enjoy the Halloween festivities there. It was a bit crazy with big kids running all over the place and climbing on top of the equipment. We mainly hung out with our friends Jayne and Alina (pictured here). Eric did participate in a couple of the smaller activities --carnival style bowling and basketball.

Halloween Party #2

Saturday night we went to a Halloween/casino party at our playgroup friends' home. Thirty minutes before the party, in dire need of *something* to wear, I pulled out my poodle skirt and wig. Jason hiked up his pants and put on a pair of glasses with tape in the middle, loaded his pocket with pens and a calculator and thirty minutes later we were off with our lion. Unfortuantely we didn't get a shot of the three of us on our camera and we're still waiting for the one from our friend.

Nvidia Halloween Party

Our Halloween was so busy this year that I'm just now finding time to post pictures from it. We had the pumpkin patch and pumpkin carving parties the week prior and then on the Friday before Halloween we attended the annual Halloween event at Nvidia. The party included pizza, pumpkins and trick-or-treating. We spent a lot of time hanging out with Kaia in the pumpkin patch!
