On to...Christmas?

With our preschool class, we took a field trip on the light rail to downtown San Jose last Thursday to see Christmas in the Park. Eric loved the train ride and enjoyed seeing all of the decorated trees and animated displays.

Oh dreidel, dreidel, dreidel...

Our Hanukkah was very busy this year with a couple parties, latkes at preschool and gifts every night. What started out as plans for one Hanukkah party at our house turned into two -- with stew, mac n cheese and latkes for the first one and brisket, broccoli and more latkes for the second. In between the two parties, we took our menorah, dreidels and even more latkes to share with our friends at preschool.

Pancake Breakfast

We went to a Las Madres Holiday Pancake Breakfast last Sunday. It was a little overwhelming for Eric who wore himself out at gym class earlier in the morning, but we had a good time watching the puppet show and attending a music class. We skipped the photo-op with Santa and the pancakes and sausages were more of a mid-morning snack, but it was nice to see friends and get into the holiday spirit.

Thanksgiving 2007

Grandma Caryn & Grandpa Glen came to visit from Wednesday to Saturday. We celebrated Thanksgiving (& Hanukkah) with Lori & Kristin on Thursday evening. On Friday, we visited the Children's Discovery Museum.

Friendship Feast at Preschool

The Tuesday before Thanksgiving, we celebrated the holiday with our friends at preschool. We had a potluck Friendship Feast and ate tons of yummy food!

Danny & Tara in town

Our friends Danny & Tara happened to be in town for a friend's wedding, so Eric and Andrea met up with them in Los Gatos on a Monday morning in the beginning of November (Jason had to work.). We got a snack at Le Boulanger and then did some shopping on Santa Cruz Ave. In the picture, Danny is entertaining Eric at Gap Kids while Tara & Andrea shopped. They were rolling Hot Wheels back and forth and having a good ol' time goofing around. Thanks for the entertainment, Danny!
