Lori & Kristin Babysit

Eric had a blast with Aunt Lori & Kristin, who came to babysit the first weekend in March. Thanks to these willing ladies, Jason & Andrea got to go out to an adults-only dinner and attend the newest Cirque du Soleil - Kooza.

We have a backyard!

We're all super-excited to have a backyard. Eric loves being able to run around outdoors whenever he feels like it. Thanks to our friends Danielle, Jason & Owen we have this wonderful play structure to use for a couple months. (They're moving and needed someone to babysit it, so we jumped at the opportunity!)

Back-to-Back Grandparent Visits

The weekend after we moved in to Broadacres, Grandma & Grandpa on both sides decided to come check out our new digs. On Friday, the Musicers flew in for a visit until Sunday. On Sunday (about two hours after the Musicers flew the coop) the Katzs arrived and stayed until Wednesday.

Valentine's Day

Even with our move the weekend before, it was preschool as usual for Eric on Tuesday and Thursday. And since Valentine's Day was Thursday, we exchanged Valentines with our friends.

Moving Day!

After spending a month packing up all our things, February 9th finally arrived. It was a big day for all of us, but especially Eric since it was his first ever move! He was there to see the moving truck arrive and watch the men load the truck. Then Andrea & Eric went to his regularly scheduled gym class while Jason helped clear out everything at Cabernet Vineyards. On our way to our new home, we picked up lunch for the moving crew and arrived in time to see them unload the last of our furniture and boxes. Eric seemed to feel right at home in the new place and adjusted quite quickly. He loves turning off and on the garden fountain, as well as watering all of the plants in the backyard!
